How grades work.

Laminate selections are organized into three pricing grades based on the laminate finish or texture suffix at the end of the code.

For example, in Wilsonart® the laminate code 10776-38 mean:
• 10776 = Color/design
• -38 = Finish/texture

Different finishes can carry different costs, which is why the suffix affects the laminate grade and corresponding upcharge. The grade is based on material cost and finish type, not on durability or overall quality.
